America, my way is a series of Polaroid photos from my journey across the American continent. Instead of showing well-known images, I have focused on the personal view of the individu- al. The title America, my way depicts two meanings. First the geographical coordinates of the pictures, the second one, more importantly, reveals a journey of becoming more aware of ones surroundings and finding a way of presenting it. All pictures were taken with an sx-70 Polaroid camera.

Matej Sitar is a photography artist based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In his work he is discovering and capturing the relationship between the individual and his surroundings. Besides the context, the visualization plays a big role in his photographs.
